The purpose of the research is a fundamental study of theoretical and methodological approaches and the improvement of the existing organizational and economic mechanisms for the innovative development of industrial enterprises. 

The methodology of the research includes organizational and economic mechanisms for the innovative development of industrial enterprises. The methodology is founded on the scientific studies of the world scientists and researchers whose studies are dedicated  to the main problems and issues of the effectiveness of ways to improve the organizational and economic mechanisms of innovative development of industrial enterprises.

The practical importance of the research lies in the fact that its results can have a positive impact on increasing the productivity of applied innovative functions, the effectiveness of organizational and economic mechanisms of innovative development, expanding the structure of innovative products and increasing the competitiveness of industrial enterprises.

The results of the research - the main mechanisms of the application of the innovative strategy are proposed in industrial enterprises of Azerbaijan.

The originality and scientific novelty of the research lies in the theoretical substantiation of the conceptual framework and the solution of theoretical, methodological and practical issues of the organizational and economic mechanisms for the innovative development of industrial enterprises.
