The purpose of the research is to determine the system of statistical indicators of international labor mobility and the sources of their formation. During the research, theoretical and practical approaches to this problem are analyzed, and the study of international experience in this field is set as the main task.

  The methodology of the research consists of analysis, comparison, grouping and analogy. The study compares and clarifies the system of statistical indicators used by the author to interpret the features of the international mobility of labor resources and the sources of their formation. The statistical indicators used to determine the international mobility of labor resources of different countries have been analyzed and systematized.

  The practical importance of the research is to study and generalize the experience of different countries on the system of statistical indicators on the regulation of international mobility of labor resources and their sources of formation, to use it in the regulation of this problem in Azerbaijan.

  The results of the research - statistical indicators reflecting the international mobility of labor resources and their sources of formation, as well as the direction of indicators used to determine labor migration in Azerbaijan, the system of statistical indicators and their sources of formation have been assessed.

  The originality and scientific novelty of the research - the identification of shortcomings in the statistical indicators used to determine the positive and negative impact of international labor mobility reflects on the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan.
