The purpose of the research consists of the development of proposals and recommendations on the optimization of the impact of e-business on economic growth in our country through the study of the characteristics of individual countries in the context of global development of e-business. Because of this, the focus has been on the systematic study of the impact of e-business as a factor accelerating economic development in modern times. In the background of the development of e-business, the dynamics of growth of its share in different countries was analyzed in GDP. Features of the development of e-commerce are analyzed on the basis of statistical indicators of recent years, general and country-specific processes are studied in Azerbaijan.
The methodology of the research consists of a systematic and comprehensive approach to the problem under study, as well as methods for comparative analysis, generalization and assessment of the impact of e-business on economic growth from various aspects in modern times.
The practical importance of the research - the obtained results can be used to solve problems related to the study and enhancement of the impact of e-business on macroeconomic indicators, as well as economic growth in the context of global development in individual countries.
The results of the research consist of taking into account global challenges and the level of development of the country development of proposals and recommendations on the application of action mechanisms to increase the impact of e-business development on economic growth.
The originality and scientific novelty of the research – to be based on the world experience in solving the problems discussed, has formed approaches in accordance with the requirements of modern conditions in the article. Research on the impact of e-business on economic growth in various countries struggling to gain a significant share of the global market has been researched and systematized. There is no doubt that e-business will benefit the economy in many ways in the short term, it is said that the development of e-business at this stage is achieved by increasing aggregate consumption, or rather quantitatively. Based on the analysis of the processes taking place in the real economy and the development of e-business, the study of the impact of e-business on economic growth justifies the need to take into account the specifics of the country. According to analyzing the dynamics of the share of e-retail in GDP of Azerbaijan, proposals and recommendations were made to increase the impact of e-business on economic growth in general.
