The purpose of the research is to examine the essence of economic risks, to systematically analyze their assessment methods and models, and to determine their application possibilities in modern economic conditions.
The methodology of the research is based on a comparative and systematic analysis of existing theoretical approaches, classical and contemporary scientific sources, as well as statistical and analytical methods related to the assessment of economic risks.
The practical importance of the research lies in improving the accuracy of risk assessment in enterprises and financial institutions, supporting well-grounded managerial decisionmaking, and enhancing the efficiency of economic activities.
The results of the research include the identification of key methods and models used in the assessment of economic risks, the analysis of their strengths and weaknesses, and the substantiation of more effective approaches under modern conditions.
The originality and scientific novelty of the research consist in proposing a comprehensive approach to economic risk assessment and evaluating the application potential of classical and modern methods from a new perspective through their integration.
