A B S T R A C T

The purpose of the research is to study the directions for ensuring national economic security in the Republic of Azerbaijan under conditions of global economic instability and to improve its management mechanisms.

The methodology of the research – the research employs methods of systematic analysis, comparison, economic modeling, and empirical data evaluation.

The practical importance of the research – the article provides practical recommendations for strengthening national economic security through fiscal stability, currency policy, formation of strategic reserves, and economic diversification within the state governance system.

The results of the research – the analysis shows that risk-oriented management approaches, the application of innovative technologies, and the development of the digital economy enhance the resilience of national economic security.

The originality and scientific novelty of the research – the study proposes a modern conceptual model for managing economic security under global instability and systematizes the relationship between international experience and national policy from a new perspective.
