The purpose of the research – taking into account the nature and characteristics of the agro-food market, determining the possibilities of improving its regulation mechanisms.
The methodology of the research – generalization, comparative analysis, statistical analysis, systematic approach methods were used in the process of studying legal documents in the field of regulation the agro-food market.
The practical importance of the research – the ideas presented in the article, the obtained results can be used in the regulation of the agro-food market.
The results of the research – proposals were put forward regarding the effective organization of agricultural producers in the formation of the agro-food market, the anticipation of the existing differences between production and consumption, the improvement of state regulation mechanisms and the solution of the existing problems in the field of food safety.
The originality and scientific novelty of the research – consists of proposals on the effective use of economic mechanisms that are basis of the regulation of the agro-food market and the determination of existing potential opportunities, as well as the optimization of the production and consumption of agro-food products.
