The purpose of the research is to develop substantiated proposals and recommen-dations on the conditions for the creation of innovation infrastructure in developed countries through the application of new knowledge and experience of the innovative economy.

The methodology of the research – systematic approach, generalization and compari-son, analysis and synthesis, grouping and deductive methods were used in the research process.

The practical importance of the research - the main results of the research and the proposals put forward can be used in the development of projects for the innovative development of the national economy and the improvement of innovation infrastructure.

 The results of the research are the development of substantiated proposals and recommendations on accelerating the development of the national innovative economy based on new knowledge and technologies, ensuring the effective organization of innovation activities.

The originality and scientific novelty of the research. The problem of complex development of innovation infrastructure and increasing its role in the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan has been studied for the first time.
