The purpose of the study - is a well-known fact that in the modern era of globalization of the world economy and globalization of international economic relations, successful solutions to the problems that arise in the process of formation and development of the national economy, to a large extent, are the means of international economic development which depends on the efficient integration of the system. This is due to the fact that states actively participate in the world economic system, on the one hand, to form a more efficient structure of the economy, to acquire modern technology and technology, to gain experience in advanced farming and management and, on the other hand, they have the opportunity to realize the advantages that they have in the international division of labor.

The experience of developed countries shows that effective integration into the world economic system does not occur spontaneously. For this purpose it is necessary to pursue a purposeful foreign economic policy, taking into account the global processes in the world economic system, the advantages of the country in the international division of labor, the development potential of the national economy and the specifics of specific conditions. This, in turn, involves the creation of a perfect and flexible system of state regulation of foreign economic activity, based on international law norms and progressive world experience, taking into account the peculiarities and prospects of the world economic system, international economic relations and national economy.

The methodology of the research- is a systematic and comprehensive approach, comparative analysis, as well as methodological approaches and approaches to the problems of the effectiveness of state regulation in international economic relations in the modern era.

The practical importance of the research - the materials presented in the study and the results obtained can be used in the development of systematic measures, complex approaches to the solution of problems of national economic interests in Azerbaijan's foreign economic relations.
