INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT IN THE AGRARIAN SECTOR AND ITS APPLICATION PROSPECTS FOR AZERBAIJAN
A B S T R A C T
The purpose of the research – to conduct an analytical assessment of agricultural innovation financing based on international models and to determine their applicability to Azerbaijan.
The methodology of the research – the study employs comparative analysis, a structural-functional approach, statistical data analysis, and a systematic review of academic literature.
The practical importance of the research – the results can be applied to improving state programs, optimizing subsidy and concessional credit mechanisms, and supporting strategic decision-making in the field of agricultural innovation financing.
The results of the research – the study reveals that state funding dominates agricultural innovation financing in Azerbaijan; however, sustainable long-term innovation development requires increased involvement of private investment and market-oriented financial instruments.
The originality and scientific novelty of the research – the paper provides a comprehensive comparative analysis of international agricultural innovation financing models and proposes scientifically grounded mechanisms adaptable to Azerbaijan’s economic conditions.
