ABSTRACT

The purpose of the research - is to identify development trends or deficiencies in the activities of insurance companies operating in Azerbaijan with the help of financial analysis.

The methodology of the research - the methods of generalization, economic analysis, logical generalization were used in the research work.

The practical importance of the research - taking into account the importance of the financial analysis examined in the study, its effective conduct can be ensured in insurance companies of Azerbaijan.

The results of the research - in order to ensure the profitable activities of insurance companies, it is necessary to conduct financial analysis on an ongoing basis.

The originality and scientific novelty of the research - methods for conducting financial analysis in insurance companies of Azerbaijan have been identified and systematized.
