The purpose of the research - is to assess the mechanisms for managing investment processes in the context of global economic challenges. To this end, processes and mechanisms for managing the formation and development of investment processes and increasing the attractiveness of the investment environment are analysed in the article. Objective assessment provided and problems of the structure of investment processes are investigated then. Special attention is paid to the issues of strengthening the investment activity of the country's economic entities. Directions of ensuring efficient movement of investment flows are analyzed. Mechanisms for managing investment processes in accordance with the global economic challenges of the modern period are given too.

The research methodology of the research - is a systematic and complex analysis, including a set of principles and criteria, progressive forms and methods of world experience, scientific views of different researchers and the author on evaluation of mechanisms of investment process management.

The practical importance of the research - results and material of the study can be used in objective assessment of mechanisms of investment process management in the context of global economic challenges, development of complex measures, laws and state programs.

Important principles and criteria for improving the mechanisms of investment management and ensuring the attractiveness of the investment environment are justified too. More effective measures to intensify investment flows come to the fore. Recommendations and proposals on current issues of improvement of mechanisms of investment processes are given in the end.
