The Azerbaijani national model of economic development not only differs from others in a number of aspects, but also stands out with certain advantages. One of the advantages of this model is its ability to develop freely, which contributes to the growth of domestic investment in the country, the implementation of global projects at the expense of the state budget, and skillful protection from the consequences of global crises.

In the article, in the context of updated global and regional perspectives, the main principles of the modern model of national economic development, theoretical, methodo-logical and practical aspects of strategic directions of development are described.

The article analyzed the national economic model of Azerbaijan from a scientific, theoretical and practical point of view, indicated its features, gave an objective assessment of the economic results obtained, substantiated the concept of a national economic model at a new stage, and identified priority areas for long-term sustainable and balanced economic development. At the same time, the national model of Azerbaijan's economic development, formed within the framework of global trends, challenges and opportunities, a stable and increasingly competitive economy, and a society based on dynamic, inclusive and social justice, was considered.
