Azerbaijan's foreign policy, which went through complex formation stages during the period of independence, was conducted under the leadership of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, certain foreign policy priorities began to be exhaustive, consistent and principled, were based on the strategic interests of the state, served the vital interests of the country, were carefully developed, distinguished by their clear, specific tasks and directions.

All these changes created conditions for the improvement of the areas that gave impetus to the development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the same time, recapture of Karabakh territory which are considered the historical and eternal lands of Azerbaijan, from Armenian invaders testifies to the presence of a correct management system in the foreign policy of the state, and the essence of important problems in the regulation of foreign economic relations was revealed in the research work.
